Community “Prayer and Word” is present in
Croatia
since 1975, with official registration into the Catholic Church and society in 1993. Community founder, Ph.D. Tomislav Ivančić, university professor at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Zagreb, has also established “Hagiotherapy” – a method for providing spiritual assistance to people in need. Today the Community is present and active in more than 10 European countries, while professionally educated and trained assistants provide spiritual support using the hagiotherapy method in 35 countries all over the world.
The Community has the following objectives:
1) moral transformation of society through seminars, public discussions and conferences; working with groups (especially with young people) and other activities where participants learn about the spiritual structure of man and its laws, and then begin to accept positive life values;
2) providing individual spiritual help using the method of hagiotherapy to individuals who suffer from meaninglessness, anxiety, depression, fears, different kinds of addictions, PTSD, aggressiveness, sense of guilt, bitterness, despair etc.
3) professional education of persons working on the moral transformation of society and providing spiritual help by applying the method of hagiotherapy.
